Fellowship in Clinical Optometry:
Fellowship in Clinical Optometry has been designed to give optometrists background knowledge and skill transfer which will refine their day today clinical management of patients. The fellow will be trained under eminent faculties in various clinics such as Refraction, Contact Lenses, Lasik, Biometry, Glaucoma, Squint & Orthoptics, Retina, Cornea, Community Ophthalmology and Project work.
Duration:
12 months for B.Sc for Graduate in Optometry
24 months for Diploma in Optometry

Examination:
The examination will be held at the end of July for theory & clinical skills.
Passing Minimum:
The passing minimum for the external is 50% of marks in each Module. The overall passing minimum is 50% both in internal and External in each module. There is no minimum prescribed mark for pass in the internal assessment.
Pattern of Question paper:
The question paper for the course will be set for a maximum 100 marks. The question paper shall have two sessions Section A & B
Classification:
The classification of marks will be as follows.

60% and above – First class

50% - 59% - Second class

Food & Accommodation:

Free accommodation will be provided.

Food will be provided at subsidized rate.
Stipend:
The fellow will be given a stipend as Rs. 4000 per month in the first year and Rs. 5000 in the second Year
